# Ledroon vs Liftoff

> Liftoff is a great sim and we fly it too. Here is an honest look at where each one is better.

## The short version

Liftoff has better graphics, a huge library of community tracks and a drone builder. Ledroon is free, runs in a browser on almost any computer, lets you fly anywhere in the real world, and scores your freestyle tricks.

If you have a gaming PC and want the most content, buy Liftoff. If your computer cannot run it, you want to try FPV before spending money, or you want to fly over your own town, start with Ledroon.

## Where Liftoff is better

- **Graphics.** It is built on Unity for gaming PCs. A browser on school graphics will not match it.
- **Content.** Years of community tracks in the Steam Workshop.
- **Drone builder.** Swap frames, motors, props and batteries. Ledroon has eight fixed drones.
- **Competition.** Weekly tournaments and a pro league.

## Where Ledroon is better

- **One click to fly**, in the browser, no install.
- **Real places:** Prague with its landmarks modelled in detail, and anywhere else from the map.
- **Freestyle scoring.** Power loops, matty flips, juicy flicks and dives are recognised and scored.
- **The OSD** looks like what you see in real goggles, analog breakup included.
- **Free.**

## Can I use my Liftoff rates?

Yes. Under Settings, Flight, choose "rates like Liftoff", or type in your own. The [Armattan Gecko 3"](https://ledroon.com/drones/gecko-3/) is the same kind of quad many Liftoff pilots fly.
