> Fly with whatever you have. A real radio is best, but you can start with a gamepad or the phone in your pocket.

## FPV radio over USB

This is how real pilots train. Plug your radio into the computer with a USB cable. When the radio asks, choose **USB Joystick (HID)**. Then open Ledroon, go to Settings, Controls, and move each stick when the game asks. That is all.

Works with RadioMaster (Pocket, Boxer, Zorro, TX16S), Jumper, TBS Tango and Mambo, and any radio running EdgeTX or OpenTX. Put arm, turtle mode and reset on the switches you use on your real quad.

Use the same rates you fly in Betaflight. You can type them in under Settings, Flight, or pick "rates like Liftoff" if that is what your thumbs are used to.

## Gamepad

An Xbox or PlayStation controller works as soon as you press a button. The left stick is throttle and yaw, the right stick pitch and roll, like Mode 2 on a radio. The game shows which button does what the first time you need it.

A gamepad's sticks spring back to the middle, including throttle. Angle mode is easier to start with. Acro is perfectly possible, it just takes longer.

## Your phone as the controller

No controller at home? The game shows a code and a link. Open it on your phone, and your phone becomes a pair of sticks for the game on your computer. The two devices talk to each other directly whenever they can, so the sticks react without delay.

## Keyboard

Good for looking around, hard for flying. W and S for throttle, A and D for yaw, the arrows for pitch and roll, space to arm. The full list is in the game.

## Touch

On a phone or tablet the game shows two sticks on the screen. Thumbs on the glass, no extra hardware.
